  17. You're missing the point. We're not talking about the icons present in the
  18. Newicons package, but the newicons PATCH, which allows icons to have as
  19. many colours as you like, and makes the system use shareable pens for them.
  20. This is clearly a win. If you want, use "MWB2NI" to turn your MWB icons
  21. into NewIcons format and then you can have MWB icons AND do anything you
  22. like to your palette.

  24. There are also whole suites of "Newicons" icon sets which are not in the
  25. same style as those present in the newicons archive.

  27. I myself use a pretty random mix of standard icons, "standard" newicons,
  28. mwb icons and so on, but the mwb icons I use have all been passed through
  29. MWB2NI.
